Curiousity Quality - Dandelions

While out exploring I often find dandelions, and I'm curious how their quality effects how much LP I'll receive.
This is assuming I've got +360% LP gain.
If I find a quality 50 dandelion does that mean I get 5x the LP I would from a q10?

no you get sqrt(q/10)x
