Carpentry bought, unlocked nothing?

I have Carpentry and Boat Building, however, when I click "Build" I am only presented with the following options:

Containers, Furniture, Stone Working, and Walls & Fences.
I can't find the fabled "Construction" which allows me to build Log Cabins, Timber Houses, Boats, etc. Is there anything I am missing? According to the wiki page, the only necessary skill to unlock the Construction category is Carpentry.

I hope the answer is something obvious that I missed due to being new.
