how to make string?

so i found some spindly taproot how can i make it into string?

It already is a string. String is just a generic category for taproots, stinging nettles, and plant fibres. Just use it as you would a purported string. ;)

Hide straps, silk threads and yarn are considered string as well.

Do take a note on this, though: Not all string is equal! Only yarn, plant fibers, silk thread, and spindly taproots can be used as fishing line. Hide strap and stinging nettles can be used in nearly every other place requiring generic string, though.
