Putting wine onto a rack/WineQL

Will putting wine bootles on wine rack raise they quality over time? It would be realistic that way, wouldn't it?
Has cellar anything to do?
What wine QL affects?

A wine rack is nothing but storage. There is no special mechanic with it. The only way to raise wine Q is to make better barrels and grow better grapes.

This has however been suggested as an idea to at least give wineracks some use. As it stands now barrels and buckets are in just superior to racks in every way.
