bee hive?

okay so my alt has the skill bee keepin. paid for with my lp and everything. but 1 it wont give me the option to build a bee hive. and 2 i had one already on the land that i finished building and it wont let me do anything with it. can i get some help as to why?

As in? If it has honey, use a bucket on it by picking up the bucket and the right click the hive. If it has wax in it (may take a few days after it starts producing honey), then you can right click the hive directly (just the pointer) and you get the option "Harvest Wax".

I just built it and the guys already discovered it all and everything. but still nothing to do with building a hive. and can i put the bucket underneath it right after i build it?

With a beehive you have to plant crops within it's radius for the bees to pollinate. Which also helps most crops grow faster. Only after that will the hive slowly start to produce honey and wax. You can see when it has honey available because there'll be a stream coming out of it. You just pick up a bucket and right click on the hive with the bucket. As for wax you just have to check by right clicking on the hive, if there's any wax there it'll give you the option to gather wax.

Building a beehive that was started for you or using a beehive that was prebuilt doesn't make you discover the materials necessary for building your own beehives. You'll need to harvest wheat for straw, saw a board, and chop some wood blocks.

okay. well what about bunny slippers? iv killed and gotten tons of bunny furs and have the cloth making. but i still cant make the slippers. i dont know why but its really annoying trying to figure out why you cant make something you have everything for...

You have to dry the rabbit hides before making the slippers/getting the recipe. Read Sevenless's guide to get started man.....

I have. and i got the slippers then i was walking around and met up with someone on a alt and they were going to get my main and gave up cause it was such a far distance. so i created a new guy and they helped me out and got me started and what not.

From what I understood, you made the slippers on one character, and then created second one. To be able to make slippers you have to get required skills and discover all materials on the character you want to craft the item with.

yea. i figured that out. it was because the new character never dried rabbit fur xD
