You can only have one claim per character. Don't try to carry the boat back. Just travel back to your hearth fire while carrying the boat. It will save you some headache.

You can break both without it mattering. If you've claimed the land it's not considered a criminal act and you won't need vandalism.

I forget which will occur: he will not be able to log in to where he logged out and thus log in at his hearth fire (or in the wilderness if he doesn't have a hearth fire) or will log in in the same spot he logged out, but be stuck on your claim. You can force a person to spawn at random if you put a large item there (like a boat). The space will be occupied and the person will have no choice but to log in to their HF.

Just use the adventure menu "destroy" action, on the hearth fire and the bed. Keep in mind that you need more than 25 strength to destroy a hearth fire, so that may have to wait until you get a bear cape. You can destroy the person in the bed, and it won't do anything to him. If he ever logs back in, he'll just appear where the bed used to be, or spawn randomly in the world.
