Stop grass from regrowing?

So I plowed a field, but next morning I saw some patches of forest terrain. How do I stop it from happening? Do I need to plant grass and plow then or what?

Plowed land decays even on Grassland.

There is nothing you can do to stop it.

But it took ONE, hell, even less than 24 hours for it to grow back. That's awful. Especially for big fields

It's not that easy to find one tile in whole field, and even harder if you got tons of these random tiles.
IMO they should extend from eachother or something

I think the best way to deal with tile reversion is to just keep a lot of straw baskets on hand. At harvest, Stash the seeds from a field, replow it, replant. Should really only need to do this every ~4 cycles.

I have Proposed that a hemp plant prevent a tile from reverting for appx. the time for 3 more crop cycles. Since this is a primary function real hemp farmers use it for in their crop cycles. It eradicates weeds from a field for 2-3 following years without the need for any herbicides.

Does grassland tiles decay slower than forest, or are they the same?

Incidentally, paved road seems to revert in the presence of growing trees.
