Animal Corpse Decay

I can't seem to find a definite answer on animal corpse decay, Sevenless' Guide mentions 4 hours but what i need to know is how long you have from when you kill an animal to when it turns into a skeleton (hide and meat are lost)
No wonder I suck at this game, there's no magic....

4 hours sounds right. A skeleton will last for like a day or two.
