Hi there

I started two days ago and tried not to bother you all by reading the guides and using the wiki but now i'm kinda stuck. I just made my claim and was hoping to start building my Palisade today until i noticed it was not in the walls and fences menu yet. So i looked it up and it turns out i haven't made leather yet.

But how do i make a "Tanning Tub"? I have leather working and am able to make boards. So why cant i make the tub? A cording to the wiki i should be able to make it.

If you've made boards already, pull a dry hide from a drying rack and discover water to make a tanning tub.

I'm assuming you mean using a drowsing rod? Didnt think of that since i'm close to a river.

No. You 'discover' water the first time you pick some up in a container. The same will hold true for other liquids later. Make a kulska, waterskin, or bucket to collect water.

Make a bucket and use it to draw water from a river, lake, or well =)

I have already done that. I have a barrel with water beside my house so what am i doing wrong? I'm also able to create waterskin if i had a cow hide.

Perhaps you need the leather working skill to make a tanning tub. Do you have that yet?

Did you discover tree bark?

Oh, and nvm what the crafting recipe says, you can make waterskin out of any hide.

Doh! I figured i had it because i had the leather working icon in the crafting menu. Thanks for all the help guys! I'll post here if i get stuck again
