Catch a rabbit

I can't catch a rabbit to get it's bones. I have hunting and when I right click him he flees and I'm not as fast as he is.

Left click until you're right on top of the rabbit. Set movement speed to run. Right click the rabbit.
Make sure you have at least a 2x2 slot open in your inventory.

Do as Tech says, or find some chickens and set running pace to "run". Chickens are easier to catch than rabbits. And if you fail, try and try again; you'll catch a rabbit eventually.

And always explore; if you can't find a rabbit, explore. I used to have trouble finding and catching wabbits, too. Don't worry; things will get better.

If you get up next to it right, you'll catch it while even at a crawl. However, some do get away because it's hard to get positioned perfectly, so being at a run is safest. (Want you to actually catch that first rabbit. You can quit being safe later when you just want the rabbit meat.)

Also if you have failed, surrender immediately, since rabbit auto-surrenders combat will end and rabbit won't run from you forever.
To surrender press the sword and branch button. (it can be also sword and sword or branch and sword depending on your situation)

Another way not as good as others is to chase a rabbit click the thing makes u come outa combat with it but you keep chasing rabbit it will then stop and you keep going.
