Hi, I'm still really a noob and have just started sling hunting from a boat. I have picked up a few foxes now but have failed to get any LP for the kills. So do you only get LP for killing by hand...?

this is not the old system of LP, so you will get no lp for killin the animal. but if it's your first fox kill, you'll get lp for skinning and butchering it.


minght i suggest you read up on the guides in the "how Do I" section

Quick Question: How can I check if a friend of mine is perma dead

there was a high probability he was going to be murdered last night

I log in this morning and he is not online which is just strange in itself cuz hes 24/7 active

his avatar picture when i click on him is a naked man

he still has his stake claim though

Well, what's complicated about it? You pick scents (http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Scent).
You can use them to find someone's HF. If you do, you can use the scents to find the guy or summon him and then murder him. It's enough if HF is in sight, you don't have to stand near it.

And that's it.
