Dead fox

I found a dead fox, by chance in the forest while exploring. How do I butcher it?

You need the hunting skill, I believe. Then right click it while you have a stone axe equipped. Always skin an animal before butchering it.

Nvm, sorry, it was a pine stump... hidden behind ferns... It looked like a fox though. Sorry :P Although I may need to restart my game, it won't let me raid ant hills >:U

Are the ant hills you're trying to raid already raided by any chance?
You need hunting to raid ant hills too.
