Fishing

Sorry I've been asking so many questions lately. I mentioned I'm new right? Anyway, i was lucky enough to catch a rabbit and kill it. I made a fishing rod, but tried to put on the hook before I added the string. When I try to fish, nothing happens. Did I screw up? Or is there no animation for fishing?

you just need a fishing spot where you can see fish jumping.

oh, and you need a bait too.

So you have a rod with string, a hook, and a lure/bait attached to it and you're fishing in water that has the animation of fish jumping out, correct?

There's a fishing animation and usually fishing music. After applying the string, hook, and bait to the rod (lift it up and then right click it to the wooden rod) you just go to [A]dventure -> Fishing and cast your line in the water. You'll need to be able to access the spot you click, either via shallows or boat.
