itd be a waste to let 16 hours of work be used as a string.
you walk around 16 hours and youll find tons more of these herbs that can be used as one.

It's easy to have too many hides and not want to deal with converting them all into leather, which quickly becomes a huge pain. Also, it's a fast way for anyone to get q100+ string early on. If you have a dedicated hunter you're going to be seeing more hides piling up than you'll ever know what to do with.
