hey i have been trying to mine and have read stuff in the wiki and everything and all my village members are having this problem to but how are we meant to mine ? we don't have enough strength and eating pumpkins does not give much and i know a pickaxe would help a a lot but you need metals to get one in the first place so how are we meant to start mining ops ?

get the highest QL rock in your village, Find a cave, or make a mine hole , Mine until you find ores (you should find an Anti collapse Pattern)

Ways to boost str. Boar, Bear, Sausages, Those long ass fish,

Bear tooth necklace, Bear skin cape

yeah we have a lot of those fish but they don't seem to increase it that much, and the highest quality of rock for miles around is like 5, and we have 2 caves in our village boundarys

You guys sound brand new. Lowest quality stone you can find is q10 since it's not softcapped by any stats, skills, or equipment.

You'll just need to search for softer stone to mine elsewhere, more strength food, and maybe trade for a decent axe or materials to make one. There isn't much to it beyond that. Hardness of stone varies from location to location as randomly as quality varies among anything else. Until you have the means to consistently strengthen your characters you'll need to get lucky and find softer stone to mine.

You'll want the corkscrew pattern.

Go foraging, collect stuff, trade for a nice pickaxe, bear cape etc. Flotsams are rare and valuable, but you can spot them without much per*exp.

the higher QL the food is, The more FEPS you get, an the faster you level up

forumula for food QL is something like this

Survival = Cooking meat, (like roasting a boar meat on a fire)

Cooking = Boiling things, and Cooking in an oven, but higher QL ovens means higher QL food, Its all complicated and QL and Stats mean everything, And you cant do it all on your own ;p

if your highest stat is something else then STR(lets say PER)
STR:10
PER:20
getting STR to 11 is as hard as getting Per to 21.
that might explain the:'but they dont get much points'
otherwise try using items from the symbel that add FEP(dont know if theres any with easy stuff tou)
and try baking higher quality goods for that stat.

Vary your diet too to maximize FEPs. Every FEP bar is reduced by the number of different foods you eat. So if you eat a carrot, an onion, a radish, a slice of cooked boar meat, and a slice of cooked bear meat you're pretty much guaranteed to gain 1 Strength but with half the number of FEPs you needed, so less than half as much food eaten.
