archery bar not filling

i dont know if i do it right but this is what i do for hunting from a boat:
i go on my boat,shoot an enemy on riverside(at least try)
but the aim bar is 0 all the time(1MM)
and i was told that i dont need to train MM to kill with a sling.(at least not if i want to be melee/riverside).

#1 get MM to at least 20
#2 don't move
#3 wait till your target doesn't move

My guess is that you're having trouble with #1

Also, I should mention... your mm skill only counts up to 2x the quality of your sling. So if your mm is 100 and your sling is q10 then the game will treat it as if your mm is only 20 instead of 100.

So increase your skill and your sling, when needed. That may require increasing your survival skill to get better materials.
