Newbie question

Postby Axhul04 » Sat Sep 19, 2009 3:38 pm

I just started playing. How do I get the stuff from the chest at the start area? I tried left clicking and dragging, but I can't pick up anything.

Don't drag, just click then click.
And check out the wiki.
Surprise.

I just started this game
I keep reappearing in this house I entered when I was fooling around

I found a nice spot where I want to stay, but how do I make a "save" there?

I think a dream catcher requires the Hearth Magic skill. Once you have it (at least I think you need it), go into your build menu and click the dream catcher. Place the transparency on the ground and drop two branches and one yarn into the build panel. To get yarn you'll need to process wool at a Spinning Wheel. To get wool you'll need to have Animal Husbandry and a stone axe, then you just right click a sheep and select shear.
