It's a sword. Roughly the same as a militia sword, I think. Only it doesn't need metal.

Ok, well, its icon looks badass, but I'm not sure how to get wind D:
I read the dev post, and I waited in a heath for like 10 minutes, but nothing.

It's a bit tricky. There's lots of rumors floating around as to how to catch one. Everything from facing the direction opposite of the wind blowing, to having two people and various things. The wind looks like a tornado blowing across the terrain, and all the wind I've caught, I got just by standing in one place and getting lucky. You need to sprint to catch it, and it helps if when you see it, you start running in the direction it's travelling, so you can stay ahead of it while trying to right click on it.

We only have one wind at the moment, and we're trying to see how high we can get it. Wind isn't very easy to trade, since it can only be held in your inventory and in a wind chime. We had more wind, but the wind chime was destroyed. It's looking like (though not really confirmed) that when the wind improves in QL it does damage to the chimes.

Yeah, they said that you couldn't hold it there too long, or it gets too powerful. Well, if you could get me 2 20+ quality wind, I'd be more than happy to meet your demands. I miss having a sword.

It seems that standing still does not work- they refuse to appear.
The only times I've seen wind is while moving.
Got some milk, though, so it's not a total loss.
Surprise.

Capturing wind is fairly simple, I've had about 6 in my possession since the update. On a funny note, I accidentally left my last one in the chimes when I logged out.. logged back in to a giant mess.

Anyway, roam the heath with your user interface minimized (spacebar) and wait for a wind to appear. If you can't catch it then don't worry, simply take note of which direction it came from. Scroll your camera in such a way that you see far into the direction it's spawning. Run, don't sprint, around the heath preferably in the same direction that the winds are traveling (that way if one spawns on your screen you'll have more time to react). When you see a wind, quickly pay attention to which line of terrain it's traveling on. The winds only go on a straight path which means if you're standing on that path, you'll be able to catch it. Run into it's path and when you're there, start spam right clicking on the wind. If you manage to click it you'll most likely catch it. You don't even need to sprint.

This won't work if you're too far from it's path as it'll zip past you. You need to be in front of it.
