scents and bugs

Title might be a bit misleading, wasn't sure what to put there.
A few questions:
Will opening a gate on someone's claim using key leave any scents?
I heared there is a bug which lets player cross ledges, something requiring leanto. Will utilising this bug leave any scents?

Trespassing scent if you don't have permission. I'm not sure about the bug though so I can't give you any information on that.

Well, trespassing scents are usually left when you first step onto a claimed tile without permission. That means there's only a small case set of where this might actually apply, and that's where the object/construction you're using to jump the cliff isn't claimed, but the land you are landing on is. I also don't have any answer. As far as I know, all of these bugs have currently been fixed, but it doesn't mean they don't pop back up occasionally. As a note, it's not a just a lean-to unless it's used in combination with something else.

(For new players reading this: Consider this a warning. Building a full wall and don't use just that cliff for protection.)
