What does Happiness do?

Kill things = Happy

Work = Unhappy

Does it affect anything at all?

Happiness levels do not affect anything. It is an abandoned feature. You may ignore it.

You can roleplay with it. For example: When my hearthling is unhappy to an extreme point, he starts to contemplate suicide. This leads to him participating in suicidal activities such as swimming down a river longways or jumping over a bear while wearing a beef loincloth.

Even though it doesn't do anything it doesn't mean you can't have fun with it!
