cupboard disintegration

hey i have had my cupboard for quite a while now and i logged off and then came back on and it had been destroyed because i had been standing so long with out being repaired and it had my palisade key in it and their were no items on the ground and now i don't have my palisade key...... is their anything i can do to get it back or make another key cause otherwise im screwed

Cupboards will be destroyed in one decay hit, it is highly recommended that you keep them inside.

So, an advice would be to read wiki.

You can destroy the gate, or build village claim + xroads, or leave village (assuming a neighboor could village port you, or that you can break your hf).

i did read the wiki and was in the middle of building my house and hmm ok then i suppose we will have to destroy the gate :/

It sounds like you are rather new. If you are trapped inside, unless you are able to make a battering ram this mistake might haunt you for a while.
