Boiling river mussels

I have two river mussels i wish to boil, I have the fishing and baking skill. And my cauldron is lit with enough fuel and water.. But i do not see the section in my craft window to make any seafood items. Could someone tell me if im doing something wrong please? =) Thank you

Did you pick the mussels yourself? Or did some1 gave them/ you found them.
Because you have to pick a mussel to "discovery" the crafting option

So I have to find them myself then? can't quite get my head around this discovery system. how come i can't make it if i have already been given some O-o

Yes. You need to pick a mussel to discovery them. Then you can make any thing related to mussels... Which are just boiled mussels, lol

It's not that difficult to understand. You need to collect the mussels yourself to unlock the ability to boil mussels. It's the same thing as having to discover bones before you can craft anything bone-related like a Bone Saw.
