Killing boars

Boars seem to love my house (atleast 3 of them spawned next to my house today)

whats the easiest way to kill them without using a ton of LP?

my house isnt on a river :/ its actually pretty far away from one excluding the road i made that almost reaches it

If you can make palisades you can also utilize those in place of a river. Failing that your best solution is to just build a fence around your home. Even a roundpole fence will prevent them from aggroing and attacking you. Once they have aggrod you though, the fence will do nothing.

You could also build a wagon.
It's much more LP consuming than using a boat but works well with ranged hunting.

Though if you do that get some unarmed, if you don't place your wagon well, boars may reach you (the "bottom" of the wagon must be between you and the boar).

A fence won't stop animals from aggroing from my experience.

Don't want boars near you house? Make a large enough claim. Animals won't spawn on claims. You could also turn the ground into grass or just pave it over. This also stops the bears and boars from spawning. (Paving will stop anything from spawning, grass gets you what comes with grass.)
