Mining

Yup.

I'm making a cool place in a mine.
My minehole is a bit far from the area i've mined.
What happen if someone make a minehole just above my oven?

Their minehole fails when they finish it. This happens whenever you try to build a minehole into a mined out area.

Even if it's zig zag mining, and let's say there is only one tile mined out it will fail?

I made a tin mine right over the zig-zags of previous miners (a cave is nearby). No problem, just placed the mine right over the zig-zags.

So the area must be fully mined out for mineholes to fail (?)
