How do I farm?

Hi!

This is my second day in the game so I'm a total n00b!
A fellow player gave me a big pumpkin and i stored the seeds quality lvl . Now I have farming skill at lvl 3 and also bought the skill. How can I plant those seeds? I've plowed some fields tryed to left click on the seed and right click on the plowed field but nothing happens... What is the trick of this?

Well, you make it sound like you are doing everything correctly. But apparently you are doing something wrong. Now we have to guess what is not entirely true from what you said.

Do you really have farming skill (not the one incrementable) on this character?
Do you really have pumpkin seeds and not whole pumpkin?
When you left click the seed, does it attach to your cursor?
Is it still attached to the cursor when you right click on plowed field?
How did you plow the field? Did tile change to brown color?

Edit: I finaly managed to plant some seeds yay!!! Just need to find a stupid rabbit to get bone for my bone saw...
