Help for a Newbie trader

Postby Chill » Fri Sep 02, 2011 9:43 pm

My village has most of that we need but I need a way to get some gold.

We have some silver and pearls that could be traded but I don't know fair market values for these.
We also have some crops (Carrots q210, wheat q119, beets q140)
And milk I could trade by the barrel (q100)

Was thinking of making a trade thread offering 2.5 bars of silver for one of gold, but again.. don't know how to accurately price.

Any suggestions are welcome. (Writing up a basic trade template would also be much appreciated, lol)

I suggest you look at the Apples & Oranges forum. You could also just write that you are interested, and ask for offers.

I looked and haven't found much in the way of gold being offered (Mostly just in trade for tons of rare curios which I need myself :/)
So I will follow your suggestion of just saying I'm interested.
Thanks for the help, close if you like.

I will say that most people won't trade gold for silver..simply because silver seems to have become very common. Your best chance is to trade pearls for it, though you likely do need those for yourself.
