i've looked several places (the wiki) but i haven't found anything that tells me what the red and tan bars mean on the info screen of a tamed animal if you know please post

I believe one is hunger but I would still like to know if that is right.

Red is hunger, tan is starvation. Starvation comes if the animal goes hungry for too long, it decreases q of all the animal's products and it's irreparable.
