Er. How to seal?

I done goofed.

I can't really wrap around the cliff because it's a huge cliff and there are more than one openings and... so.


Anyway to seal?

From what I know, the bottom of the cliff (the direction the cliff is facing) cover the full tile while the upper part only covers a tiny portion which will mess up any wall building attempt near it.

It may be possible to fill the gap by shift-placing another cornerpost next to the gap. But that's not guaranteed.

If done properly it Will fill it guaranteed.

Well I couldn't get it to work on a W4 palisade, that I was foolishly attempting to build between two cliffs, and nor could the random bear caped guy with a pickaxe who wandered by and showed me how to wrap it around the end of the cliff instead. And then the world ended, so no pics.

You can also seal it at inner side of cliff bends, possibly outer too.

Cannot shift place due to lack of pavement on the green area. Anyone want to explain how to do that shift build?

It's nothing complicated, just pave the areas that you can and if you can't then don't try to build there.
Near the hole in the wall just hold shift while placing the wall segment and place it as close to the wall as possible until there are as few pixels to no pixels of walkable space to enter through. You may need to place two if you just can't find that sweet spot so that you can block the X axis with one and the Y axis with the other.

Alternatively don't try to use cliffs as walls because, as we've seen in the past, they're really easy to mess up and bug hops have no problem with them.
