Wine and Table Qualty

Postby Lithorn » Wed Sep 07, 2011 8:13 pm

I've rummaged both Wikis and looked around the forum some, but I'm still unsure.

I need to know how to effectively control my wine quality, as well as how to control my Table FEP Bonus and Hunger Modifier correctly.

When I make wine, The grapes come out 100+, When pressed, the juice comes out q75-79, Whats doing that? I know the Barrel quality is added into the Juice quality to give the final say in Win Quality, but whats altering my juice quality beforehand? Is it the press? Do I need a higher quality press?

Also, I thought Table Neatness Was taken out, so only the Tableware mattered, but when I placed a chair down it changed the Hunger Bonus by 2%. Do the Table/Chair quality matter? I don't see any indication on the table alone, I know the chair does from seeing the change. Is neatness still involved?

Thank you for any information

Yes and Yes.

if the Q is going down when you press it you need a better press.
both the table and chair quality's matter for the hunger bonus, not sure you will be able to get more them 5% from both but they do help.

So what q would it have to be to get 5%? Or is there a limit say q20 or so then so on it dosen't matter.

Ah thanks, Guess I need to up the wine to say, 100 since the grapes are about that. Thanks man.

Wait ok I know the table and Chair matter, what about the Psyche and dex?

I have no idea what Q would get you 5% mine about Q35 and 2% on the dot, I'm just going by the wiki "You get nice little bonuses to your eating depending on the Quality of the chair, table, and of everything on it."

if you want a Q100 wine press I have seen some for sale on the forum, ask around. :D

What about Psyche and dex? like a softcap? I don't believe any build-able items have softcaps, only craft-able.

This is pretty much correct. Psy and Dex can be used in the softcapping of some of the Symbel items when crafted. Be sure to check. Other than that.... nothing the OP has asked about so far is softcapped by either one.

No I mean, part of the wiki said those stats determined how "Well" the table was placed. I was wondering if thats still true because I remembered seeing something about Table Neatness being undone

As far as I know neatness does not play a role in the hunger and FEP modifier.

Knowing J&L don't like announcing changes very much and leave them to players to find out I wouldn't bet on it.
