What's happening with the clay anyway? How do you take?

Well guys I've seen similar , but did not help enough.
What is happening is this, I know how to collect the clay but spent almost an entire day (real days) to get a single unit, recently returned to play and I know there have been changes, before it was easier to collect the clay, this difficulty today is deliberate? Would anyone know a way to collect most effective? anyone have any tips?

I don't think it is any harder to collect. The only change I've heard about is that node quality goes down and up at a faster rate now. You still find nodes the same as always.

You need to find clay quality node. It's where quality of clay is higher than 10. Then you will be able to dig much more

If someone digs clay the amount of clay goes down until it is all gone. Later it will come back but you have to wait.

Boat around and look for kilns. Abandoned kilns are best. There is almost always some kind of a clay node there.
