Q about prospecting in caves.

Can prospecting be done in caves? If so, will it reveal ores at the cave level? or will it only detect ores one level below (L2)?

Prospecting always detects minerals on the level below.

Not really, cause prospecting is a huge pain in the ass, anyway.
