Invisible walls?

So i keep running into invisible walls seemingly at random and topics on the forum that cover it say "you reached the end of the world" I am questioning that, and I have two reasons.
1. why then does the world 5 map show about 18+ super grid tiles more in that particular direction.
2. why is there hearthling construction on the other side? clearly not abanndoned.

I would give my coords but I am paranoid

So what are these invisible walls. and how can I get past them.

Those are "nuked" areas due to a bug. I'd post a link to the topic, but I'm too lazy to find it.
