I have a doubt, is it possible jump down from platau (hill) ?

I must create a palisade on the top of the hill ?

Thx in advance

Nope, only way they can get in is if there happens to be a gap from the cliff to your wall. (Also rams and pailbashers)

Yes, however it is a bug and considered an exploit to do so. I'm not going to explain the method. It probably exists out there somewhere, though. It's always considered safest to make a complete palisade.

Besides, you save yourself a LOT of headache and potential for grief if you just do things properly and not half-ass it. In order to build with the cliff wall, you have to build two or more initial corner posts. That's twice the materials you need (rope, glue, and leather... you'll go through enough blocks, anyway). There's also the fact that you probably can't align perfectly with the cliff face so you'll likely need two more starter posts to prevent anyone from walking around your posts near the cliff face. That means you'll likely need 4x the rope, glue, and leather to build a wall. Now, which would you prefer to do?

You can fight off bears with your bare hands but asking a hearthling to jump is just too much to do.

What about fighting a bear with jump? :)
Reaper, Reaper, that's what people call me! Why?
Cause they all die! When I sing, I end their lives
