Is it theft if...?

Postby cyph » Sat Sep 10, 2011 8:32 pm

I'd rather not buy the ability to steal but i am having some difficulty getting clay and water of any fair quality due to what seems to be abandoned claims and all the good resources neer by seem to be on those claims. So my question is this, is it stealing / will i leave scents from digging clay / filling a bucket of water from a boat just incase thay are active claims after all.
Many times i have been to these claims hoping to see someone and attempt to trade over the course of a week checking several times per day, i've seen no one and there is very little built and much decay arround.

Thanks for reading all

I believe so.
Scooby Doo taught us that the real monsters are humans.

Yes, you'll leave scents.

i think its not theft.
theft is the skill you need to take items from other peoples CONTAINERS.
its vandalism if i right because that lets you interact with objects like barter stands, digging etc.(confirm pls)

Well it's a a little bit of a pain that i'll have to travel much further to find some ql20+ water/clay but on the upside getting the answer to my question means i'll be spending my 20k points elsewhere. Thanks all, much appreciated.

Yes it is vandalism to take water, clay and soil off a claim. I'm not sure about barter stands...

Barter Stands require theft.
