But now I don't know what to do next. I can't provide in leather, as I have never fought an animal. No idea how I start becoming a leatherhunter...
I can't mine, because I can't find the rustroot and will never be able to have perc. x explo. =500. So I can't make metals...
Animal husbandry doesn't work because I do not have all the things I need to quell.
So really I don't know what to do here. I've god 8000points to spend. What is the best thing to do? Grow my stats, buy skills, increase my land... ?
There is so much you can do. You're only at the tip of the iceberg, so to speak.
1. You are farming and I'm assuming you're also gathering curios. Keep doing this until you can raise your Marksmanship to around 40. The higher the better. Once you have a good amount of Marksmanship try and get a good Sling and head to the nearest Heathland or Grassland where Auroch or Mouflon spawn. When you find a herd of them, surround the closest boulder you can find with construction signposts with you inside it. Initiate combat with the herd and start killing them one by one with your Sling using the rocks from the boulder. It should go fairly quickly the higher your Marksmanship. This is a great way to gather plenty of hides for leather.
2. You don't need Rustroot to find metal. Find a cave and mine the walls in several spots to check for ore. Just don't mine too much without a support otherwise you can cause a cave-in and kill yourself.
3. The easiest animal to tame (in my opinion) is a boar. Just walk along the river until you find one and you can just get in the water and start the taming process. I'd post you a link to the thread that explains the taming process and how to do it step by step but I don't want to.
It isn't hard to do all of these things by yourself, it just takes time, and to me it is more rewarding.
