Its been a while since i made pies :S

However I seem to remember it being an (arithmetic) average of the ingredients (flour, water, blueberry/pumpkin flesh)* softcapped by sqrt(cooking*perception).

*there may be some weighting here, which I have forgotten... sorry if this is the bit that is causing you trouble.

hmm, my greatest of the great cook hasnt been on in a while and im trying to keep up int while i change sliders, so just wondering if i'd waste his nice q dough water if i baked

Are you sure it's the geometric mean of the attribute and skill? It's been way too long since I've softcapped my baked goods to recall exactly. High q water is too scarce for me to use it for baking, just for trees and other absolute necessities, so my doughs come out at only around half q of the flour and other ingredient.

If it wasn't, I would be really surprised, every other skill/attribute based crafting softcap (i.e. not involving tools etc) that I have tested properly, has been geometric. Unfortunately I can't test this on my character now... but you are right, I guess this should be tested properly, and I am not 100% sure.

well i worked it out using sitting bills formula, and it came out at the right Q...pity is my oven ruined it
