Tell the quality of an Herbalist Table

I found an Herbalist Table but nowhere does it seem to say what is quality is. How do I find out.

put something that is Q10 on it, does it go up, down, stay the same, then use math to work it out, think it is ether

itemQ + tableQ / 2

or itemQ + itemQ + tableQ / 3

if it does not go up at Q 10 not really worth keeping unless you are really new.

For the majority of items, it is this ^^ if the quality of the table is less than the quality of the item being dried. Other items actually use the quality of the table in the calculation of the final product. (I'm thinking of potted trees here.)
