taproot to string?

how do i craft taproot into string??? anyone help me with this so i can fish.

It IS string. As in, if a recipe requires string you can use a taproot and it will work.

You've misunderstood. Taproot IS string, you left click to hold the taproot, right click on the fishing pole. ;)


String is used in general it refers to taproot, plant fibres, silk thread, yarn, and perhaps one or two that i am missing :)

hide strap, stinging nettle (although that can't be used as fishing line ;))

unfornatually i havn't managed to make it past my first bed and shelter lol ah well i'll learn :) and hopefully i'll start seeing sum people :D and anyways i think this thread should get closed now seeing as the question was answered and thanks again for al the people who helped me learn my ways :3
