Black screen in Fullscreen

Black screen in Fullscreen

Every time I change to full screen the screen goes black.
I was wondering if I can fix the problem and if so how?

Go to the Wizard's Tower and download Ender's client and run that instead. The default client is more or less abandoned, buggy, and useless. You cannot full screen in the default client.
