Well i was lookinf for something to eat, but the only thing i found was an ant hive thing near my little camp.

People are insanely paranoid in this game. Generally it's like growing up. You're more likely to socialize with your peers (join era) than anyone else because they're the easiest to trust and even if you can't 'win' the game this time around (assuming that people continue to play as consistantly asnd vigilantly as the efforts that led them to power they have now) Seeing what they do and being their victims will teach about something there is no tutorial for. The metagame, the politics, the drama you see about between nations. NOte that there is plenty of room for exploiting this. It hasn't seen true enforcement by a realize megavillage yet because of difficulties in securing large plots of land and managing the social dynamics of large groups.

u can eat apples and nuts etc from some trees if u get desperate

get hunting skill and get bunnies. stand close and double click on a bunny, butcher and cook the emat
same with chickens

learn fishing make a pole and go fishing. its ur best supply to food as a newb
only areas of a river with jumping fish have fish in them btw.

and read the stickies ont he forum, sevenless has a really good one for newbs starting. good luck:)

above all, enjoy your time as a newbie, its quite fun, in a different way than the game is fun after you lose your innocence and actually have stuff worth killing over
