Help im stuck!!!

I need help I was in a boat going to my friends place and the game stopped respinding and now that its responding i cant move and the only way for me to get to safety is to log out. but i heard that if i log out while in a boat ill drown plzz help figure our how to get to safety.. why has this game been lagging so much lately?

If you log out and back in right away, you're usually fine. When there is an issue is when someone moves your boat. If nothing else, if you log out or are booted while in a boat, you can go the safe route and log back at your hearth fire. If you were in a boat or carrying something, those items might end up being lost (you can always try to find again).

Just another reason to avoid traveling by boat. If the gods wanted us to swim, they would have given us gills.

That's silly, boats are a wonderful way to travel. If you get stuck then just return to your hearthfire. Sometimes progress is lost and sometimes it's gained, never forego useful tools out of fear that they might provide a bump in the road.

Not to mention its near impossible to be caught in a boat by players if u know what ur doing
