I cant craft?

Useually the craft icon is on the bottom right with Adventure and combat, but it isn't there for me! So I can't craft making me useless. Any help?

What client are you using? I'm assuming this is an existing character and not a brand-spanking new one.

Also, when lag becomes an issue of not even being able to play, many of the icons don't like showing up, so that could be contributing to it.

Well my character is fairly new, but you do start off with primitive tools. I have fishing and foraging but craft isn't there so I can't craft a rod or anything. But in adventure I have the fishing action?? What do you mean by client like the display/HUD? Well I am using the default.

Probably you haven't discovered any materials, so you have no crafting recipes available

On a brand-spanking new character there is no craft menu (nor build) because there hasn't been anything discovered to craft. That's why I stated the assumption that the character had lost the menu instead of it just not existing.
