How do i pick up stuff behind stuff

Well all in title used to be able to pick up things behind trees houses etc because a yellow outline would pop up but no yellow line and cant get my stuff from behind a house.

Yes, it's broken (again). Hopefully it will be fixed again soon. For most people, the solution is to get Ender's client and hide houses/palisades/rocks etc. as required. If that's not possible for you, start praying to Loftar....

Get Ender's Client and hide object: houses in the options menu. Ctrl+h to toggle hide on and off. Default Client is pretty terrible.
