I Cant play the game at all?

alright hey guys, yesterday night i was watching paulsoarjr's video about this game and i said "HEY! this game looks great! i would love to try it!" so i created an account and verified it, and when i clicked "play haven and hearth" it said something like = "unkown exception thread in something..java script? then it said unkown protocol = socket" please help.. i wana try this game so bad

you're not missing much, game isn't playable with all the lag right now anyways

I'll give you the same advice I've given the last two dozen people who've asked the same question.
Go to the Wizard's Tower and Download the Ender's client: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=14575

The Ender's Client is superior to the default client in every manner and, on top of that, it's also better supported and has a larger body of knowledge to pull from. If you run into problems with Ender's, then consult the Problem Shooting Flow Chart: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=12278

Alright so i downloaded the client and i opened it and clicked Run.bat and right when it opened it said = "unable to open Haven Jar.file"... so i looked at the flow chart for a good 5 mins and i couldnt find my problem! im sorry im so stupid, but i need help still..

I suppose so just because I can't think of anything better to do with the information provided. I'm unfortunately not a very good source for these types of issues but everyone who is literate in these affairs appears to be off for the night. I can't think of any other reasons that you'd be unable to execute a .jar file.
