Not to sure whats on your mind here.

- General leashing a animal outside claimed ground. Nope. Where it came from don't matters. (just being complete)

- Initiation a leasing action while the animal is on claimed ground, but where the actual leashing action takes place outside the claim. I don't know. (While checking up on your previous question, the theft scent was released/placed at the moment of the actual leashing of the animal. Although that's not saying that much.)

- For the opposite (just being complete). Initiation a leashing action while the animal is outside claimed ground, but where the actual leash action takes part inside a claim. I don't know either. (If it acts the same as with, for example, moths, the answer here would be No.)

I'm not planning to test those last 2 cases. At least not yet.

(i got the UI mod by ender, ran updater.jar and made the run.bat. no matter what i do i cant get the game to launch)

Tamed animal on claim = owner of tamed animal is claim owner
Tamed animal outside claim = everybody is free to grab

if you steal a tamed animal from claim (leashing and moving it from claim) i think it's considered theft thus a theft scent (while i wouldn't wonder about irrational scenting code...)

just leashing the animal prolly is just tresspassing

If you leash and move a tamed animal from an active claim i guess fearing to be tracked (or summoned) is only fair ... if claim is inactive: destroying the stake just leaves a tresspass and you're free to move everything afterwards ...

if there a lot's of tamed animals in BW on active claim and you're going to grab a vagina cannoned animal i guess most won't bother to track ...
