how do i get easy food?

ok is there any way to get food relitivly easily. i cant find any rabbits for there bones to make a hook for my fishing pole. of course i cant fight boars unless there is some tactic i do not know about. i need high expolation and perception if i want to farm is there any relitivly easy way to get food. if not could some one maybe tell me there tactics that would be asome. i know this is a very noob question but from what i have seen so far the community seems very nice and acomidating. also if you know how to craft a toy chariot that would be nice to know. i have pottery and quality 20 acre clay so idono why i cant make it.

Get Foraging an you should be able to see taproots on the ground to eat. Alternatively an apple or mulberry tree works.

Toy chariots need the pottery skill which you have and 5 acre clay. You also need to dig at a mudflat and discover acre clay (getting it from someone won't work). It should be listed under curiosities in the crafting. Exit out of the craft window and back in after you discover it.

Well one relatively easy thing to do is to get to 15 Unarmed combat and then go around raiding ant hills, you'll raise your AGI slowly and it's basically free food/curios

my personal opinion on a way of getting food is fishing.
fishing nodes arent that rare(someone correct me if wrong).
fish provide LOTS of food for just a few bait/lure.
the tough part in the beginning is to get a taproot and bone hook to do it.
but once you get these 2 and find a fishing node,you get yourself a huge source of food.
oh and if there are ant hills near a riverside,raid>run to water(untill you cant pass further) ants go crazy>raid free food/curio.
