Shearing wool

Ok the sheep info says wool q 85
My surv is 180+
axe 100+

Wool result is q67. I can't quit figure out what is limiting my q... Is this a dex and sewing thing or what?

What is the quality of food it has eaten?

From my obervation food quality does not matter for wool, I have been getting max quality wool while food quality was lower.

I think that this sheep might have starved in the past which now lowers overall quality of everything.

As for the statistics capping the quality - maybe farming or dexterity?

Some skill is defiantly involved, I would say it was dexterity or sewing.

Also food quality has always mattered with me, If I miss feeding them then the wool quality normally drops somewhat.

All food eaten is q100 or so..And sheep have never starved...

It must be a DEX thing as that Is the only stat that is lower than 100
I'll give it a try with thimbles...maybe that'll make a difference...

Dex + tool q are softcaps for shearing sheeps.
