You need vandalism. If it also drops a material on the ground such as hemp dropping plant fibers on the ground, you'll need to use theft to collect those.

This late in the world crime is a zero sum game for people who have just started. There are too many high levellers with the power to end your game and life on a whim, if they find a scent. Plus there's plenty of loose 'materiel' in non- claimed sites.

Depends where you are in the world. If your near some big cities then probably will find yourself dead if you dont have a brick wall. In the middle of nowhere though you might get away with having a pally.

The current world is too small. It's too easy to go from one end to the other in a day's time. Best to just be safe and not leave scents if you don't want to get tracked down by a bored hunting party for the lulz.
