Fences

hay guys im stuck on how to make fences and i know how to make walls but not fences. Im new by the way so i can only make stick wall and cornerposts and i dont want exsperement and find out im wrong. I want to know how to make fences for my cart to get in and out of the walls

Do you mean gates? I'm confused by your distinction between fences and walls? Do you mean expanding walls perhaps?

He prolly wants gates for his fences (not brickwall), but anyway this works for both:

Right click on Cornerpost "Make gate to the..." - it needs 2 tiles between cornerposts

With Ender client press CRTL+g to show grid

Then just don't unalign the cornerpost from the grid and you'll be fine. You unalign constructions from the grid by holding shift while trying to place its construction sign. So don't hold shift while building and they'll be aligned to grid.

It's shift, not ctrl.
