hay guys how do i plant grass to make animals spawn?

You need any seeds in your inventory then Adventure -> Terraform -> Plant Grass

There is a random chance for aurochsen, ladybugs, silk moths, mouflon, and chickens to spawn on grassland tiles that are not occupied by a personal claim. Forest tiles spawn boars, bears, silk moths, and rabbits.
